Bent

Vincent "Bent" Carter was born on January 17, 1983 to a single mom. He spent most of his childhood in the poverty stricken and gang infested Chicago Suburbs. Vincent was also the first born son of a well known drug lord. Vincent, was identified as creatively gifted child on an acadmic level at an early age. He frequently challenged his teachers on the english language as it was taught to him. As an outlet he would write poetic rhymes about his life as a kid. He was encourged to rap his poems for family entertainment, however after the death of his father rapping became an outlet to release the painful experience of losing a parent. After high school rapping became a career goal.



He would start with a local label known as “Capitol Bound”. Things wouldn’t get official until 3yrs later when he signed his first deal with Spitatcha Records. In which he also became a member and co-founder of “Tha Reps”.



As far as song credit’s go Vincent has recorded songs with Chi Duly, Termanology, Nonstop, Thug Cousins, and The Kid Espi. Vincent has also had the pleasure of performing with the likes of Baby Bash, Gemeni, Cool Nutz, Yuckmouth, M-80, Thug Cousin’s, Cousin Fik, Chris Ray, Charlie Blu, Kid Espi, Y.G.P, And Big Reece.



Vincent is currently working on the his next solo effort "Dr. Love" & “Growth and Development”.
