Supercycle began in August 2007. A product of two dreamers who wanted to make music amongst the fresh mountain air and waves crashing in the background. Following their dream, they tracked west from Toronto as far as their wheels would take them to Vancouver, with no job, no prospects, and no friends to crash with. They soon found that it was home not only to them, but to extensive bike paths, a ton of art, and a 6 month rainy season which forces them inside, into the studio to turn out masterpieces.

Once settled in Vancouver, Supercycle began releasing records. Their first album “Pedal Faster” caught the attention of the gaming circuit which led to scoring original music for the game “Facebreaker K.O. Party” and “Fifa Street 3” with others on the way. They continued on to release their second album “Moustache Rides” featuring the track “Rock Rock” that Los Angeles based DJ Reid Speed used on her latest mixed CD released on Moist Music. Reid Speed loves them so much that she also used their track “The Dead Walk” to launch her Los Angeles based label “Play Me Records”. In January 2010, they released their first dj mix titled “Desequence” on Sweden’s leading electro label “Clubstream” and remixed a track by This Morning Call titled "Tides" for the same label.

Prior to Supercycle they have each had solo music careers. Jen/Queensyze as an electro/drum and breaks producer and Andy/Code Blue as a really scary hard drum and bass producer. As Code Blue, Andy has been released on Position Chrome, Black Hoe Alimony, Tune Inc. Recordings and has been played by Aphex Twin, The Panacea and Raiden (to name a few). And as Queensyze, Jen's tracks have been released on Phonomental Records, In Da Jungle Recordings, Tune Inc. Recordings and they are both on Beatport and itunes. Together as Supercycle their creations sound like indie disco mixed with spacerock that has a refined zombie edge.

All the time spent inside during the rainy Vancouver months seem to work for these two. When they aren’t scoring films or video games for EA or being total tech nerds, they grind out some of the nastiest electro-filth West of MSTRKRFT.
