Mr. Radar

Since the release of their first studio work, “The Great Destroyer”(2008), the band continues to explore new outlets of symphonic expression. Starting back in 2006, Chuck McGee and Geoff Elliott began as an alternative rock duo. Laurence Penn and Daniel Alan joined them within the year, each with their own idiosyncrasies. Their first compositions functioned as experiments, each rehearsal a lesson, each practice providing discovery. And after a year of song writing, in 2007, a drastic change in the bands name coincided with a new musical identity, Mr. Radar.



The concept for the band includes an elaborate mythology centered around the fictional, yet enigmatic, “Mr. Radar”, whose story serves as a tool for the band to explore song writing from a stylized platform.
