illmic is a 19 year old aspiring hip hop artist outta Boston, Mass.

after the highly anticipated mixtape 'illmic as Tommy Trigga vol. 1' recently

hit shelves fans of illmic are breathing a sigh of relief. the mixtape controversy

had dwindled for too long, after court cases and jail visits had pushed the release

date back several months. While fighting the legal battles he faced, illmic filled notebook

upon notebook, with fiery lyrics, and while being locked up, had written enough music

to finish his first project. having previously recorded tracks at a friends home studio,

illmic decided to get into a profesional studio to record the mixtape. Working with

Paul Vaitkus, one of bostons most talented producers, he recorded several hard hitting,

hip hop bangers. Working all over the city of Boston, illmic was quickly building a buzz,

working directly with many promising artists, beat makers, and producers.

Late 2008 he anounced to his fans that the mixtape they had all been waiting for would

be available by January 25th, including 18 tracks, 13 never before heard, and seven collaboration joints.

criminal, who has been caged inside of a young mans body for too long. tommy trigga isn't

a figure, he isn't a live person, he doesnt exist, but he is everything that you don't want

your kids to see. tommy trigga has been locked deep deep inside of illmic for 18 years,

and it is finally time for the beast to be released. tommy trigga has been released on this mixtape.
