What is the current state of Hip Hop music? The answers to that question vary. Over the last decade it has suffered losses ranging from the death of elite artists, to the deterioration of reality in the music itself. From a sea of cookie cutter rappers, Gangsters and Ballers emerges a pure artist by the name of ILLFLO. The artist prides himself on writing and producing ‘real music for real people.’

With performance credits and a recording background dating back to the early nineties, the Brooklyn native is no stranger to the entertainment industry. Showcasing his witty wordplay and complex metaphors anywhere from small battles in the street to becoming Bet’s ‘106 and Park’ Champion, ILLFLO is a natural.

In addition to headlining the ‘Save the Music fest’ at ‘Club Speed’, ILLFLO has opened for artists such as Young Jeezy, Juelz Santana, Jin and the late Notorious B.I.G., to name a few.

Not content to wait for the temperamental and sometimes unpredictable music industry to determine his fate, the young artist realized his entrepreneurial ability in 2005 with the release of his debut CD, The Red Pill. The project was released under the A.I.A Enterprise Umbrella, a Technical Production/Multimedia company for which Mr. Edwards (ILLFLO) is President and C.E.O. Over 15,000 units of The Red Pill have been sold to date, literally hand to hand. He is currently in ‘the lab’ working on a compilation project that will not only showcase his songwriting, and production ability, but provide an outlet for other up and coming artists struggling to get their voices heard.

ILLFLO continues in the pursuit of creative expression through his unique flow, storytelling ability and energetic delivery on stages all across the East Coast. As if that weren’t enough, the young businessman is committed to the development and success of A.I.A Enterprises. A winning combination of artistry, technical ability and ‘passion for puttin’ pen to paper’ guarantees us that there is much more to come from ILLFLO. He’s already ‘made the papers from makin’ that paper’ so he’s determined to going the distance. Concerned about the ailing state of Hip Hop? ILLFLO offers a remedy. “Have you popped The Red Pill yet?”
