He’s been dubbed "Indiana's Finest" and "The Future of Indiana" by fans around the nation. But to the Hip-Hop community, he’s simply known as “IIndHand”.

Well… not too simple…

IIndHand, born Patrick Alexander, is an aspiring Hip-Hop Emcee. He was born January 7, 1984 in the hectic streets of Gary, Indiana – one of the most ruthless cities in the United States. But IIndHand doesn't take being born and raised in Gary as a loss; he sees it as "a front seat to harsh reality, and an insight to the real-world".

IIndHand's knack for music began at the young age of eight years old. During that time, he founded interest to various "West Coast" Emcees such as Ice Cube, 2pac, and Digital Underground. IIndHand began creating various mixtapes by recording songs to his cassette tapes, and making mixes and blends from his boom-box. His mother was still very young at that time, so the majority of influences he received were from her and the various types of Hip-Hop music that was brought into his home.

In 1996, during the infamous "East/West Coast Rivalry", IIndHand began dissecting different elements of music from both Eastern and Western Hip-Hop. This is the time when IIndHand realized that this is what he wanted to do with his life. He decided to pick up the pen and pad and create his own history.

At 18, IIndHand began to network with up-and-coming artists around his area, and with high school classmates who shared his passion for music. IIndHand joined the high school rap group "Tre Assassins", but the group quickly fell apart due to members relocating to different areas; this left IIndHand on his own once again. Shortly thereafter, IIndHand ran into an individual by the name of W.O.R.S.T.(World's Own Revelated Street Thug), who gave IIndHand more insight to music and how to express personal feelings, thoughts, and insights within his craft. W.O.R.S.T. is also the mentor who gave “Patrick Alexander” the name we know him by today. The meaning of IIndHand:

IInd - The second natural disaster to hit Earth

Hand - Heaven Always Needs a Dark-side

It was not long before IIndHand parted ways with W.O.R.S.T. He relocated to Evansville, Indiana in hopes of acquiring a college degree and employment. Even with these goals in mind, IIndHand never put his passion for Hip-Hop aside, and he used every penny earned at his part-time job for studio time and production. IIndHand decided to create his own path by saving money to purchase his own studio equipment. Subsequently, he compiled exactly four mixtapes in a span of six months. Sadly, these were never released due to creative differences with his former label.

He traveled throughout the state of Indiana, displaying his rhyming caliber while continuously uploading mixtape after mixtape for Hip-Hop fans and music fans alike. This work ethic introduced IIndHand to several untapped fan-bases stretching from Europe to Asia, during which his support in the U.S. continued to expand.

On Halloween 2006, IIndHand released the highly successful mixtape "In Da Hood: Vol 1" featuring such hits as the self-introducing "IIndHand" and the smooth collaboration with artist Yung Teddy on "My Dough."

From there IIndHand continued to perfect his craft through guest appearences on DJ JO's Gangsta Musik series as well as collaborations with New Jersey's Illa Fam and Co-LOD member, Star.

IIndHand has also opened for the likes of Jim Jones, Jibbs, and most recently Project Pat.

Currently, he has returned to the studio for his second release "In Da Hood Vol.2" an album that is sure to show his lyrical mastery as well as a deeper side of the man they call IIndHand.
