Ignite the Hope

Ignite the Hope is a Hong Kong based indie rock band; the band was formed in 2007 by vocalist/ bassist Henry, guitarist Calvin, guitarist Kin and drummer Nicky. In 2012, the band expanded to include bassist Hei and drummer Travis. Through the melodic, picturesque and rambunctious instrumentation, they express simply what we genuinely feel about our surroundings. They also seek to intrigue their audience to think positively, and to provoke them to ponder upon their own values.
Throughout these years, they have been invited to be a supporting act for various foreign bands, such as Horse the Band(US), The Maple Room (Belgium), Typecast (the Philippines), Reflector (Beijing) and Raving Radio (Beijing). Not only have they performed in Taiwan and China, their first MV "Stab Me Alive" was released in February 2010 as well.
In December 2011, Ignite the Hope released their debut album "The Realization of Universal Truth". The 7 tracker depicts and marks their personal growth - how they have come to moments of epiphany when they gradually learn to see human nature and the world more and more.
