Ignite Mindz is just a hip hop head that started makin the music. He was born and raised in winston salem NC. Imagery is a singer, drummer, rapper, and human beatbox from the same city. Ignite met Imagery while skateboarding in the 7th grade. By the 10th grade they had started freestyling together. Soon afterwards they began recording downtown over shitty beats in Triple D's apartment. Ignite started making beats and they decided to get serious. Ignite went to ECU to school and Imagery continued working construction with his father. Yet they still made music over the phone and by sending beats in the mail (Imagery just got the internet for the first time in winter 2008). They made an album called Thoughts that was just for the homies. Ignite decided to make a solo album and created Psychological Warfare in 2007. While Ignite Mindz is in love with that album, he knew he needed to utilize the natural chemistry he has with the musical powerhouse who calls himself Imagery.



Ignite is now in Raleigh working full time, and Imagery still works full time swinging hammers on ladders in Winston, yet they still came up with 40 original songs in about one year. They have a mixtape they will put out for free (though it is all original beats) and an album that will follow suit. They are currently trying to figure out how to do this properly. Theyre still skating, still actin a fool, and still makin music cause it's fun. Oh and Imagery bout to have a baby girl.!
