Hummer is a band from around the Warrington area in Northwest England, made up of Will Atkinson (Bass, Vocals, Mandolin and Keyboard), Joe Watson (Guitar, Vocals and Keyboard), Matthew Cain (Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals) and Matt Jennion (Skins and sticks, loud banging noises and ringing ears, i.e. Drums!). Since completing the lineup in early 2008 we've quickly broke free of the garage and played dozens of gigs in dozens of places here and there, in addition to writing plenty of new material and recording it ourselves, with no intention of stopping any time soon!
Against a backdrop of hard, energetic rock carried over from our punk rock past, today our live set will spin you right round the world within a matter of songs, as we stir together influences of Reggae, Celtic, Russian, Arabic, Mexican, Latino plus many more sounds from across the globe.
