Hailing from Miami, FL, sixteen year old Alexis brings a fresh blend of south driven R&B and Pop to the scene at a time when the industry and consumers alike are "starving" for true talent. Her first EP "MY VALENTINE" is a short story of love and friendship. The EP opens with "MY VALENTINE" where we see Alexis looking for a valentine, someone she can call her own. Not just any ole guy, a "gentleman" - "someone I can count on".as the lyrics go on to describe. In this day and age most young ladies are in search of a guy who won't "cheat" or abuse their trust. As the story continues, "Can't Wait" then let's us listen in on Alexis' fascination with a guy she has her eye on but has never met. She can hardly wait as she counts down the minute to see him at school. As she gets to know him, puppy love ensues."Recess" chronicles their "courtship" as she wants to spend all her time with him. As the story turns, her friends warn her about "That Boy" fearing that he's no good for her. Feeling her friends are just jealous of the time she spends with him or perhaps just hating on her, Alexis continues courting him until she discovers he's the same guy thats been courting her best friend. Being the "player" that he is he tells Alexis that he really likes her and that he has no feelings for her best friendTorn between the love she has for her best friend and the feelings she has developed for "That Boy", Alexis insists that he needs to "Tell Her" friend how he really feels about her. After weeks of heart ache over this "triangle" Alexis realizes that this dude is not the one true valentine she'd hoped for and that relationship with her best friend is more important than the games and confusion being put down by "that boy"Alexis comes with her best friend and declares and pledges her love and loyalty to her in "I Will Be"



So we see as in most relationships, no matter the age, the cycle of love and friendship remains true - Love sought, Love found, love lost redeemed.
