As my band HighWon already has a myspace account, I chose this one to promote my damn self as well.

Born and raised in the low-priority housing projects of Stockholm, Sweden and with a proud Palestinian heritage, it goes without saying that my music is mainly about injustice and opening your eyes.

Everything is connected. Your struggle is my struggle, whether you live in an impoverished Paris suburb, struggling in the projects of Harlem, trying to survive in Soweto or fighting for basic human rights in Palestine and the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.

Malcolm X taught us that the world is still colonized, and most non-white peoples and countries are getting robbed of their own resources to make the ex-colonialist countries richer.

To date, in the US, black and hispanic people continue to live life in the ghetto. In Europe, ghettoisation is either a new or old reality for countries like France, the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and so on.Immigrants in these countries, just as blacks and hispanics in the US, originate from ex-colonies.

Racism and classism has shown us that either we're not welcome or we have to assimilate (not integrate) and frown upon our own cultures and religions, and just accept the fact that its alright to bomb innocent people in Arab countries, continue to rob Africa or just make a mockery of a worldreligion like Islam.

Palestinians go through the most extreme form of segregation and apartheid.

The Palestinian territories have been nothing more than one big prison since 1967, "thanks" to the Israeli occupation.

Now the state of Israel have chosen to manifest this fact in a physical form, the apartheid-wall. This wall not only surrounds the West Bank and Gaza, but is built so that it snakes through the territories so that villages and cities are secluded from eachother, preventing families to even see eachother.

And nobody has the balls to criticize this racist government of Israel.

To summarise, whether its "politically correct" racism and segregation like in Sweden where they mention integration but practice the opposite, or in the third world where life is just plain cheap, we're all in the same struggle.

The rich West cant go on partying and celebrating life, while people in Latin-America, Africa and the Arab countries celebrate death as a relief. And we, the children of these immigrants in Europe or the slave-descendants in America have an obligation to stand up to this. Because we're still getting fucked.
