HOMETOWN HOOLIGANS

Originally formed in early 2005 by The Hydrophonic Crew (Custom Made Smitty and Primo B) and brothers Jake and Jes Farris, the Hometown Hooligans quickly recruited additional talent Big AC, Homemade, Massakre and DJ Epitaph. Many shows ensued right off the bat. Then came the infamous HH logo created by renouned tattoo artist, Donny Manco and it became quite popular with the fans and sold and HH sold many, many tees from it. In 2006, Jake Farris left Hometown Hooligans to pursue other endeavors and his brother Jes left shortly thereafter to pursue other interests. Primo B of THC and Homemade also stepped away from HH throughout 2006-07. Although the roster declined to 4 members (Epitaph, Massakre, Custom Made Smitty and Big AC), 2007-08 was quite a blossoming period for the HH camp. There would be a number of solo CD's/Mixtapes released from the HH camp as well as many more shows, newspaper articles and an amazing diehard fanbase that stuck with them through the good and bad. A close friend of HH, Rezin, created a NEW logo for the Hooligans that would also grow quite popular amongst the fans. 2008 was a growth period for the Hooligans in that they would gain two amazing members to their roster, a second DJ by the name of Konfewshus and another emcee, Portable J but it was also a trying time for them as life threw some major curve balls at the guys and tested their faith to the music and eachother. Well here we are in the present 2009 and after a 6 month hiatus, all 6 members reunited in June 2009 to not only perform one of their best sets ever at Summerfest in Downtown Ft. Wayne, but also spark something in eachother that would bring them together to create a group album, with all 6 members donating their flavor to the Full-length LP. Welcome to the world of HH.
