Introducing "Holy-D"
Deron Martin aka "HOLY- D" began a new journey in life in 1993 and at the age of seventeen he accepted Christ as his savior and gave up the street life. Because he wanted to glorify GOD on his actions and his life he began rapping for Christ. "HOLY - D" is also a spiritual person who enjoys writing songs about the Lord and his past experiences in life. "HOLY-D" survived two major car accidents in 1996 and 2003 along with two of his children. Thanks be to GOD they are still breathing and enjoying the blessings of life.
Since "HOLY-D" began to spread the gospel message through the flow of Christian Rap he evolved into one of Gospel Hip Hop most inspiring artist.
"HOLY- D" was raised in the city of Los Angeles with four brothers, five sisters, an Loving Mother and Father. After the passing of his Father at the age of 5 and his Mother on March 19, 2006 also, being involved in two car accidents himself "HOLY -D" realized that he needed to get closer to GOD and set example for those around him that he could make it no matter what obstacles may come his way. GOD covered him and Angels protected him while he made his way into his destiny.
"HOLY - D" has now matured through life's experiences into a young man as well as his gift full talent . With much inspiration he is raising two children as a single father and ministering to young people through out Los Angeles and the Antelope Valley area. Reaching this level in life he has come across some God fearing people who have and still helping him along the way.
Also, "HOLY- D" has been blessed to have his label called P- Funk Gospel Entertainment.
"HOLY - D" has won numerous awards for rapping and has been heard wordwide; China and also in Europe. He has also ministered at City of Refuge; Bishop Noel Jones church, Living Praise Christian Center; Pastor Dr. Fred Hodge. He also recently ministered at the Juneteenth Celebration in Littlerock,Ca.
Because of his unique style of ministry HOLY-D has also had the pleasure of ministering with Vanessa Bell-Armstrong at the Lancaster Performing Arts "Gospel Comedy Jam," and with Curtis Blow at the Holy Hip Hop church in Los Angeles.
So, get ready for one of our premiere Gospel Rappers that will inspire people of all ages and bring a message of Christ we all will be able to relate to.
