HollyWood Petey, 22, is a hip-hop artist, hailing from the untapped market of Jacksonville, FL. After a childhood of dreaming about success in the music industry, Petey is more than ready to embark on a reality that's far more eccentric and prosperous than he'd ever imagined.



From the moment he found himself through music, there was nothing that would stand in his way of touring the ins and the outs of the industry, and how it ticks. He quickly began reading books, surfing the internet, and booking his own shows. Rubbing elbows with independent label CEOs proved it's perks when, in 2006, the artist was signed and soon preparing to release his debut album. However, those perks were short lived when after only 9 months into his contract he and the label parted ways due to undisclosed financial issues. "I like to look at me being signed, and sort of screwed out of a contract, as a learning experience. It helps me to remind myself that 90% of people in the world are out for self, and you should definitely keep your third eye on things."



Now after nearly a year long break from the industry, dating back to September 2008, the charismatic rapper is more than ready to have heads nodding and fans screaming. Having recently received his LLC license, Hollywood Petey is now the proud owner and Chief Executive of Operations (CEO) for "Eee-YooP!!!" Entertainment.



The newly formed corporation is set to release Hollywood Petey's highly anticipated mixtape: "PAY THE PRICE VOL.1 TATTOOS & LAMBORGHINIS" by early November, 2009.



While attending the Third Annual: Fort Hawkins Car Show in Macon, GA. this past month, Murder Dog magazine's newest intern (Stacey Unis) asked the CEO/Artist what his hopes were heading into a new phase in his career as well as a new year.Petey simply smirked and stated, "I'm finna make this whole music thing look soooo easy! You'll never even see me break a sweat."
