Hillary Lindsey is an award-winning country songwriter, earning a Grammy for her song "Jesus, Take The Wheel", recorded by Carrie Underwood, and receiving an Best Original Song Academy Award for "Coming Home", recorded by Gwyneth Paltrow in the soundtrack to the movie Country Strong.

Lindsey and accompanist Cary Barlowe perform the song, "American Honey", written by Lindsey, Barlowe, and Shane Stevens. Lady Antebellum recorded the track, which peaked at #1 on the Billboard US Country Songs chart.
