"Hex Machine is a rock bastion having earned fans and critical acclaim as a band's bandthe hard way
taking it to the stagethen largely accused of "noise rock filth of the highest calibur", and
"not indicative of today's times". It really is far too much of a cross to bear, getting stoned with fans
and the recall of having cut their teeth in part on an unforgiving early Richmond, Virginia horizon,
to speak of a few seminal groups Honor Role, GWAR, the Alter Natvesultimately igniting a 90's
music-cosm of its own, in the face of the transgressions of the rest of the worldhere we find
after thorough instigation, Hex Machine is an alternate wave of the new rock spectrum.
In classic throw-caution-to-the-wind fashion, the band is hitting the road in the U.S. this summer,
sticking to the crust and heading due west to record the follow up to the 2009 album "Omen Mas"
with engineer Tim Green (The Fucking Champs, Melvins, The Donnas) in Grass Valley, California.

On and off the touring stage since 2005, the band has been billed at home and across the US
with many notable actsThe Jesus Lizard, Clutch, Shonen Knife, Harvey Milk, Melt-Banana,
Baroness, Intronaut, Murder By Death, Qui, Triclops!, Kylesa, Saviours, Vaz, Zoroaster, Cky,
Easy Action, Jucifer, Priestess, Young Widows, Dysrhythmia, Karma to Burn among many others
in an ever growing living breathing web of exciting and forward-thinking music.
Hex Machine's cultivated sound can be chameleon-like, slipping in and out of sonic masks
A sound that can be heard by some as a familiar blast from the past for no one exact reason,
and for others, one that can be heard as ever so evasive and from out of nowhere, hallmarks of
a rather interesting stance in the underground of today's culture. Wouldn't you agree?"

"If we were to have done good, we'd have seen it one more time. If we were to have done bad, we'd have seen it two more times.needless to say, we've seen it more times than we can shake a fvcking stick at"

"A twitchy bludgeoning low end reminiscent of the Melvins at the tail end of a crystal meth bender in the wrong hands, something like this would seem pretty derivativedecent songwriting chops coupled with a great sense of dynamics sees Hex Machine establishing their own identity while wallowing in some serious nostalgia.
Hex Machine is one of those rare cases where a band knows their influences and makes them work in their favor - they manage to carve out a sound that's reminiscent of all the best parts of 90's stoner rock/noise rock."

"The whole American Noise Rock renaissance continues to fester under the skin of the underground and this band is one of the more crushing pushers at workthink the heaviest AmRep stuff on even heavier drugs. If yer anything like me and worship the Amrep catalog, Hex Machine might be your new favorite band." --Crucial Blast
"Clearly huffing fumes from the same grotty gluebag as the Melvins, Hammerhead and The Jesus Lizard, 'Run To Earth' is a monolithically gnarly chunk of slavering AmRep noise rock, harking back to that golden age of recklessly overdriven guitar scuzz when uncouth, straggle-haired boys and girls really knew what their battered guitars were made for."

"Like dreaming of being alone in the park and getting slapped by one of those big rig naked lady mudflaps, then waking up. In the park." --Hannibal Lecturer
