Klaus Nomi (Klaus Sperber) (January 24, 1944 -- August 6, 1983) born in Immenstadt, Bavaria, Germany. Nomi died on August 6, 1983 at the Sloan Kettering Hospital Center in New York City. One of the first celebrities died of complications from AIDS.
