Hereldeduke's last single ‘Shudda’ was ‘Record Of The Week’ on The Radcliffe&Maconie Show on BBC Radio 2 and received plays from Huw Stephens (Radio 1), Shaun Keaveny (6 Music), Nemone (6 Music), Steve Merchant (6 Music) and John Hillcock (XFM) amongst others.

Hereldeduke played Beachdown, Kendal Calling, Loop Festival and BBC Radio 1’s Introducing night.

Hereldeduke also supported Mongrel, Fujiya & Myagi, Esser, Micachu, Robots In Disguise and made an appearance on Primetime Border TV live.

Hereldeduke is the creation of producer Ollie Linton Brown. Originally from Cumbria Brown moved down south to work as a sound engineer for Skint Records. During this time he engineered for the likes of Midfield General, Seamus Haji, The Ping Pong Bitches and got engineering credits on the Top 40 hit ‘Together’ by Artificial Funk.

These formative years taught Brown new skills and techniques that helped him develop the project he started as a teenager… Project Hereldeduke.

Hereldeduke then went on to remix Black Grass (Catskills), Roman Flugel, Freq Nasty and Tiga (all on Skint), recorded two tracks with the legendary Kool Keith which had radio support from Huw Stephens and Steve Lamaq from Radio 1 amongst others.

Then in 2008 Hereldeduke's debut album Country Bumpin was released on Brown's own label Rife Records. Following the success of the first single 'Shudda' Brown was asked to play a few festivals as a live show. A crack team of top musicans was assembled. Hereldeduke was one of the most exciting and original live acts around mixing harmonica and beats, synth bass and Guitar.

Brown is now recording as Linton Brown. Check www.myspace.com/lintonbrown for more details.
