Helsinki Seven

In the heart of the Cheshire plain, you'll find a small town called Northwich,
an area noted mainly for its salt mines, unstable land and Roman history, not
the most likely of places to find one of the UK's most promising new rock bands.
Helsinki Seven are a 3-piece Alternative Rock band made up of guitarist/Singer
Joe Penny, bassist Adam Bevan and drummer Nick Cowling. They have been very busy
since their formation in 2006. Touring the UK both alone and and with many
bigger acts, such as Fighting With Wire, Future of the left, LaFaro, Atomic
Garden and Palehorse. Sinki's debut album came out in 2009, receiving great
reviews in the UK media. In February 2010 they toured the UK with LaFaro,
playing to sellout out crowds all over the UK. In September 2010, The band
played a 21 date European Tour, covering France, Switzerland, Holland and then
finishing the tour with a festival performance in Belgium.
The band gives 100% at every show, winning over every crowd they have ever
played in front of and always staying true to the DIY attitude of Punk Rock.
