Hél & lui est la rencontre musicale entre deux artistes, Héloïse et Stéphane issus de deux univers tout à fait différents : la chanson française et le jazz/ blues. De par leurs différences de parcours et de formation, ils cultivent un répertoire mêlant ainsi adroitement l’univers de la chanson à textes par l’interprétation de compositions personnelles avec celui des standards jazzy.
Rendant compte d’une véritable complicité sur scène, c’est tout naturellement que leurs univers s’agencent et se complètent :
Héloïse se confie au public à travers ses textes (en français) bien ficelés et chantés par une voix claire et émouvante. Tandis que lui, Stéphane à la guitare habille les chansons par un jeu subtil et non intrusif, soutenant la voix; le tout formant un duo en douceur, sobre et original.
Issue d'une famille de musiciens, Héloïse fut plongée dans le monde artistique dès son plus jeune âge. Elle étudia la harpe au conservatoire, pendant 11 ans, jusqu'au niveau de Fin d'Etudes; puis elle apprit seule à jouer du piano et de la guitare, et commença à composer des chansons ainsi que des poèmes et des parties instrumentales, se consacrant ainsi aux musiques actuelles.
De son côté, Stéphane commença la musique à l'âge de 18 ans. Il s'initia à la guitare par le biais de cours particuliers ainsi qu'au chant. Rapidement, il commença à composer des morceaux en français et en anglais qu'il interpréta en public dans différents lieux de concert parisiens (Maroquinerie…) Puis, Stéphane fonda un duo acoustique, reprenant les standards de Jazz Blues qui se produit par ailleurs actuellement sur Paris (Baiser Salé, Sunside.).
