Hellhound Rehearsal Studios

Located in Rahway, NJ, Hellhound is a one-of-a-kind, creative HQ for local musicians. It was designed and built specifically to serve the fiercely driven artist and has become home to the local underground scene; the best of the best in every classifiable and unclassifiable style craft their music here.



The vision was to create something unique, a rehearsal spot that would serve as a conduit bringing out that which lurks at the core of the human soul, the Infinite, and facilitate its' expression through the most powerful and universal of languages.



More than just a great rehearsal studio, at Hellhound we make it our business to know what you want and see to it that you get it. Understanding that artists require much more than just a space and equipment, we’re kind of like your personal cut-man; in your corner making sure all of your needs are being met.
THE TANGIBLES
Isolation - The rooms are constructed like bomb shelters, double stud, double rocked walls over a foot thick, layered with visco-elastic material and lined with rock wool insulation with redundant, solid core wood doors for near complete isolation of sound. No cameras, no spying; complete and total privacy. Once you enter the room and close the doors behind you, the outside world no longer exists, it’s just you and your purpose, alone in the vacuum of space.
Sound – Acoustically tuned rooms with cathedral style ceilings deliver presence, accuracy and warmth.
Gear – An artist cannot express what’s in their soul with instrumentation that does not respond. Hellhound is equipped with raw power, clean power, punch, crunch and raunch with a selection of amplifiers to satisfy every conceivable taste.
Comfort – At your service, we treat you like a Rock Star! Each room is climate controlled, equipped with it’s own honor-bar; a refrigerator stocked with very reasonably priced bottled water, Gatorade, sodas and snacks with enough room to spare for anything else you might want to keep on ice.

SPECIFICATIONS
Hellhound has three acoustically tuned rooms with state of the art sound control, atmospheric lighting, full climate control, dedicated electrical circuits (no crosstalk), virtually unlimited headroom and an unbelievable backline.
Every room has a complete PA equipped with an Allen & Heath MixWizard 16:2 mixer and a CD player/burner for recording.
Each session includes the unlimited support of a Technician. We'll get you set up, help familiarize you with our equipment and when you are ready for a live sound check, make all necessary and desired adjustments until you are satisfied with your mix. Complete support is available to you throughout your session.
Live recording is available at no additional charge. You can bring your own blank CD or purchase one from the studio.
