Ten years ago in the heights of northern Spain, a fresh faced Hektagon began his musical career as a mc and producer for hip hop act Verse Sect. Being a man with an appetite for diversity, he soon started to experiment with different tempos and sonic textures, creating an eclectic blend of Hiphop and electronica.
Following his passion for music Hektagon decided to pursue a career in the industry and moved to London where he spent 2 years studying his trade. The move brought him together with like minded artists and catalysed his entry into the Drum and Bass scene - collaborating on a project called Brainstorm.
During this period Hektagon worked with fashion label Chen Pascual, creating music for shows and supervising the AV team. Keen to spread the drum & Bass message, he secured a fortnightly radio show at Virgin Megastore putting him in contact with some of his most influential producers in the scene. A proficient DJ, he turned his attention to the clubs, playing numerous venues in London and across Europe.
Having given blood, sweat (and a few tears) to the Drum & Bass scene for half a decade, Hektagon began to apply the techniques he had learned to different genres. Electronica, Dubstep and (most recently) breaks being the focus of his interests.
Always willing to learn, Hektagon is currently collaborating with artists and producers from across the musical spectrum. These projects continue to widen the scope of his productions.

ロンドンで活動する音楽プロデューサー、へクター・ヘルナンデス・パスクアル。
母国スペインから拠点をロンドンに移動し12年。サウンドエンジニアとしてのプロフェッショナルな技術が認められ、MERKA、BAOBINGA and ID、HFB ( Alex Paterson from the Orb)など数多くのミュージシャンのリミックスを手掛けた。一方HEKTAGONの名で、ダブステップ、ドラムアンドベース、エレクトロニック系のオリジナル音楽を制作。2009年末には新作14曲をおさめたファーストアルバムをリリースする。DJとしてロンドンのクラブはもちろん、バーミンガム、ブライトン、さらにドイツ、スペイン、オランダに渡り精力的に活動中。

Hektag�n empez� su carrera musical en Espa�a como mc y productor para el grupo de hiphop La Secta del Verso. Movido por la experimentaci�n pronto empez� a probar con diferentes tempos y texturas sonoras, creando una mezcla entre hiphop y m�sica electr�nica. Hektag�n decidi� irse a Londres para estudiar tecnolog�a de la m�sica e ingeniero de sonido. Alli es donde conoci� a muchos artistas de Drum and Bass y colabor� en un proyecto llamado Brainstorm.
Durante este tiempo Hektagon trabajo con la marca de Chen-Pascual, creando m�sica para desfiles de moda y supervisando el equipo Audiovisual.
Movido por su pasion por el D&B, comenz� un programa de radio en Virgin Megastores en el cual conoci� a muchas productores influyentes de la escena. Durante este periodo Hektagon estuvo pinchando en muchos clubs famosos de Londres y Europa.
Tras haber trabajado en Drum and Bass todos estos a�os y haber sufrido alguna que otra decepci�n, Hektag�n empezo a experimentar y aplicar las tecnicas aprendidas del Drum and Bass otros generos musicales tales como Breakbeat, House, Electr�nica y mas recientemente Dubstep.
Hektagon esta colaborando con muchos artistas de otros generos musicales y asi aumentando la calidad de sus producciones.
Recientemente ha finalizado su primer �lbum titulado London que ha sido muy bien recibido por la prensa y calificado de altamente recomendado y de un trabajo exquisito.
