HeavenBound was formed in 2003, when Keshet (Guitar) started
working with lead singer Gabriel Just on writing a rock opera.
The duo finished writing the rock opera “The Diments”, added a bass player
and a drummer and performed across the country. After going through
several line-up changes the band have reached its current state; Matt “Sponge” Isaac (Drums) and Rummy “Bottle of” Rum.
HeavenBound gathered a loyal crowd. They are known for their impressive
ability to improvise and for the unique theatrical shows with The Diments.
Due to crowd’s demand, HeavenBound released a double album;
self produced bootleg of recorded live shows of The Diments.
HeavenBound also recorded and released the single “The Clash” that has
been featured in numerous radio stations.
An Independent video clip for The Clash have been released and featured
in the Israeli Music Channel and is available on the internet.
In 2006 HeavenBound came out with a new show that included
new songs and more genres- Hard Rock, Grunge, Metal to Folk rock,
Progressive, Funk, Blues and more. They made a promise to their crowd –
a brand new song on each and every show – a promise that is well kept.
In 2008 HeavenBound have released their official EP, which includes
eight of their songs and was recorded and produced by the band.
Songs from the EP have been featured on the radio and the album got a
praising review from the popular magazine “Metalist”.
Now days Heavenbound is workin’ on a Live DVD/album entitled
“On With The Fuckin’ Show”, to be released soon…
