Born and raised on the south side of the city, Tim started out singing in the church at the age of three; he knew this is what he was born to do. As the years progressed so did his gift and with the support of his loves ones, he pursued many performance opportunities like talent shows, concerts, doing commercials jingles and acting on the Chicago music theater scene. Tim graduated from Curie H.S. of performing arts and also attended Northern Illinois University to further his music education. He has been so very blessed to sing, write, and record with some of the music industry greats like Josh Groban, Jessie Dixon, Billy Preston, Montage Pheloan, Darius Brooks, R. Kelly and many more in the Chicago-land area, as well as world wide. Singing backup for one of his favorite singers Miss Kim Burrell Wiley and doing the "Missing You" tour with Bad Boy’s CEO P Diddy, are two of his most cherished memories. Tim also had the awesome experience of being the music director for the festival tours overseas with “A Piece of My Soul" gospel choir.
Tim currently teaches voice training and loves to travel with his band Entourage on the weekends. Tim is a member of Shekinah Chapel in Riverdale IL where he serves as minister of music and choir director. He also leads Worship at the lily dale Baptist church on the south side of Chicago. He quotes, "When I’m not getting my praise on, I’m somewhere working in the studio trying to keep my mind fresh with new ideas. Not only is he branded as a great singer but he is establishing himself as a great songwriter and vocal producer as well.
Tim released his debut solo project entitled "A Better Man" in 2007 with Jamel Kimbrough and Benjamin Moore for “Keyemup music” with the hopes of being picked up by a great label. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Tim recently signed with Gold street Gospel and is in the process of releasing his sophomore project nation wide guaranteed to bless your socks off so be looking out!!!!
