I have been active on the Seattle blues scene since 1974 when I played as a sideman with Peetie Wheatstraw's Buddies, a band that included a young Jack Cook on guitar and Twist Turner on drums.
I played throughout the Northwest with my former bands, Nitelife and the Bluestars, and also worked as a sideman in the Isaac Scott and Tom McFarland bands. I fronted Harmonica Playboy & His Midnight Movers for over eight years. That band featured several of the most experienced and exciting bluesmen in the Northwest. The band's original tune, Scufflin, is featured on the Northwest Harmonica Showcase CD. The band last release, Lick My Soul! was released in the fall of 2002.
I am no longer booking the Midnight Movers, and will be woodshedding and seeking sideman work for the foreseeable future.
