it is a dream that sounds like the sea".

Add a drop of despair, a touch of vulnerability, a hint of hope and you will find the unique sound that is Happily Ever After.

Self-proclaimed promotors of melancholy, Happily Ever After has been part of the underground Norwegian music scene for more than 10 years. Although the band has appeared and reappeared in different shapes and sizes throughout this period, it is in its current form that the band has finally found its niche.

This pure melancholy from the far north is the result of a ten year working relationship between guitarist/vocalist Tommy Aashildrød and vocalist Janne Skalleberg, combined with the classic scholary of Marius Astrup Thoresen and the jazz influence of string bass player Jon Mikkel Broch Aalvik.
