The long and winding dark roads of the Denver music scene has finally led us to find the right combination for the musical salt we ad in a land of bland rip off artists who call themselves musicians! Not talking about the local music scene (because there is a lot of great music here and if you don't support it you can f*ck off), but the music that has tainted the young minds of America for years. Since we have had Kevin and Sean join our band Matt and I have not been happier with life, just knowing that there is a glimmer of hope poking jagged sticks in the assholes of the record snob jerks that want everyone to sound the same makes us stand on our heads and laugh. To exploit a sound until it is soaked of all its beauty and intelligence is blasphemy. Do not write music that you think people and record producers want to hear, write what comes to you naturally like we now do. Other wise you are just another bland suit-less face walking down the catacombs of a never ending battle to be on top. The only way you can achieve that is to let go of the world and its dirty corporate whores!!!! D.I.Y.

Look for our new record coming out soon. LOVE

>********************Grease Machine builders (Mykel and Matt Machine) have added extreme horsepower with former drummer for Audio Dream Sister Kevin Keim and former Vin Cappa guitarist Sean Barela. The overhaul has given the machine a vintage electric rock injection from an era that was well under-defined. The new Grease Machine nameplate reads something like “Aggressive Progressive Rock & Roll delivered with Punk Rock Spunk”. Grease Machine is soon to be puttin’ down tracks at a venue near you (as well as on their upcoming album).

Over the weekend: Acoustic Profanity at Bender's Tavern

Early on in the night, three members of Grease Machine played to an audience sitting at chairs set up in front of the stage. They kicked out a set of mainly covers like Leadbelly's "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?," which Nirvana played on MTV Unplugged, Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues," Black Flag's "Nervous Breakdown" and "I Saw Your Mommy," a Sucidal Tendencies cut, which featured some hilarious ad-libbing by frontman Mykel Martinez. The Machine also played an original tune about their drummer pooping all the time.

As the bandmates’ techniques and styles have evolved, they’ve managed to attain a rarely seen attribute, at least in local circles: longevity. “We’re coming from the front lines of a war, dragging our severed bodies past the corpses of other bands that have died throughout the years,” Myke jokes . . .
