Emerging from the streets of Long Beach, California, Graveyard Riot has created a contentious punk rock resonance with raw tastes, irate chord progressions and candid perceptions that are illustrated through their relentless lyrics. Influenced by groups such as Black Flag, MDC, The Misfits, The Circle Jerks, U.S. Bombs, Suicidal Tendencies and other punk legends, Graveyard Riot’s sound is distinctively progressive while implementing an old-school punk rock composition that has been lost in the saturation of modern music. And if the music itself isn’t enough, watching this band perform live at any venue is a gory and rebellious experience worth seeing. The energy they exemplify shatters the walls and embodies true punk rock tradition. Lead singer, tattooer and zealous songwriter, Damien King, offers a raspy and blazing sound that punctures the audience and terrifies the psyche. Backing these merciless vocals is Brandon’s untamed guitar producing a rare sound amongst the punk rock scene. Responsible for the throbbing pulse supporting Graveyard is drummer Angel and bassist Kram who provides an intense rhythm section that directly correlates with their politically charged and controversial vocals. After the remorseless release of their first EP, released in 2006, these dark and murky musicians are bloodthirsty for punk rock and leave their fans equally as ravenous.
