Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Gotty represents the new generation of Urban Latin artists by breaking into the music scene "Rompiendo Reglas" (breaking the rules). Influenced by 90's Hip-Hop and Reggaeton artists such as Vico C and Baby Rasta y Gringo, Gotty's rough childhood experiences are what first inspired him to pick up the mic and express himself through music. Gotty's music career began as part of the group, Gotty y Montana. While in this group Gotty worked on several compilation projects and performed live in such places as Lloren Torres, P.R. and in local clubs in New York City. Gotty y Montana split after a year and a half due to mutual agreement. Gotty currently resides in New York City where he is currently working on releasing tracks with his own company M.N.D.
