Some time in the late nineties, three young fellows stumbled across some magic beans. The beans caused everything the chaps heard to slow down and echo. Not long afterwards, another gent showed up with a programmable monophonic, and then another with some long strands of magnetized tape. It was at this point, the five fellows began calling themselves GFE and decided to record an album. But during the process, one of the members felt a call from the Ozarks, and he beckoned that call. So as the 2000 decade unfolded, the four members reorganized themselves and released, 'Bottom Of A Pail Breaking Thru', 'Spread Out Inside', and 'Halocline'. A great number of reels housed at the Living Room are rumored to hold well over 30 unreleased songs, though new material has not been unleashed since 2004's 'Halocline' ep.
