Gone by Daylight

We wanted to start with the "what we're doing now" stuff, what we are working on in 2010, and where we are headed, because naturally we are most excited about that. We are currently in the studio writing and recording with producers Kurtis John and Michael Nadeau and this project could not be going better. We are all learning so much and pushing our musical abilities to the limits. We can't wait for you guys to hear the new stuff. The demo will be out by the summer 2010 (the latest)!
Alright, here's our story It all started off on the right foot I guess you could say, when the first time that Eric Paquette and Shannan King ever played out live together (in 2002 - 15 years old), My Chemical Romance opened for us at a home town show held at a church hall and we burned down a table in the front row (kind of by accident). We were going by the pretty dope alias, Donkey Punch.
Three years later, in early 2005 was the official start of Gone By Daylight. With the addition of Shannan's brother, Jordan King on guitar and long time friend Danny Rivera on bass, we finished our first record by that summer and started playing shows - always trying to put on the best live show we could. We figured that we were always so passionate about the bands that had sick live shows and we would have the time of our lives going to see them play, so we wanted to do the same for our fans. Except if you were in that first row in 2002 ;)
Ok, here's the part where we have to brag a bit. We've played shows like Warped Tour 2005, Skate Fest and played at half time for a Springfield Falcon's Hockey Game. We've played with bands like The Misfits and Starting Line (thanks guys!). We have been lucky enough to have had our local radio stations show their support as well. Lazer 99.3 (Springfield, MA) has played our stuff and have always been there for us, as well as The Rock 106.9 WCCC (Hartford, CT) giving us spins and featuring us as their "Home Grown Band" for a while. Another cool thing to add is that we were part of a compilation Christmas album called 'A Santa Cause' with Blink 182, New Found Glory, Something Corporate, Saosin, and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
Long story short, we hope you guys love our music and come to a show to hang out and hopefully have the time of your lives.
