GOLDFINGER CREW nace en Barcelona en el a�o 2006, cuando tres de sus actuales componentes, DJ Pixel, DJ Kush y Beat Prize cruzaron sus caminos a trav�s del circuito de competici�n de DJs de DMC (Disco Mix Club). El background de los tres barceloneses result� ser dispar pero complementario: DJ Pixel atesoraba una larga experiencia como DJ de m�sica electr�nica, Beat Prize llevaba a�os combinando su faceta como DJ con la producci�n y DJ Kush proced�a del �mbito Hip Hop tras muchas colaboraciones con grupos Nacionales. La uni�n de los tres talentos dio como resultado el proyecto GOLDFINGER CREW, que pretend�a fusionar las tres disciplinas en una sola ecuaci�n: DJ Producci�n Directo = GOLDFINGER CREW.
En menos de un a�o y en ascensi�n mete�rica consiguieron ganar el campeonato de Espa�a de DJs DMC y plantarse en las finales mundiales en el O2 Arena de Londres.
El a�o siguiente fue el de la incorporaci�n del cuarto miembro del grupo, DJ Dare. Articulista, productor y reconocido DJ de la escena Hip Hop, este DJ barcelon�s fue el cuarto vector que configura el actual proyecto.
Tras conquistar el segundo campeonato nacional de DJs, y conseguir la 5� posici�n en el mundial DMC, GOLDFINGER CREW inici� tambi�n su andadura como grupo musical aunque sin abandonar el circuito de competici�n, que seg�n ellos mismos declaran les resulta extraordinariamente �til para desarrollar e investigar nuevas t�cnicas a los platos. Tambi�n su estilo musical empez� a definirse, caracteriz�ndose por directos muy contundentes y con un amplio elenco de fragancias electr�nicas cabalgando a golpe de scratch sobre los ritmos m�s pegadizos y bailables. Sus remixes en directo de grandes hits de Fat Boy Slim, Prodigy o Crystal Method, combinados con producciones propias, han abierto camino a toda una generaci�n de DJs y productores.
Los platos convertidos en instrumentos musicales, los ritmos triturados, tratados y recompuestos y una puesta en escena enormemente cuidada han hecho de GOLDFINGER CREW uno de los grupos m�s innovadores de la escena de la m�sica electr�nica.
GOLDFINGER CREW was born in Barcelona back in 2006, when 3 of the current members, DJ Pixel, DJ Kush and Beat Prize crossed their paths in the DMC DJ competition (Disco Mix Club). The background of these 3 guys from Barcelona was different but complementary: DJ Pixel was an electronic music DJ for years, DJing in different clubs of the underground scene in Barcelona. Beat Prize was combining his role as a DJ with his own productions, and DJ Kush came from the Hip Hop scene, where he was DJing for different national bands.
The 3 talents joined and formed the GoldFinger Crew project, which was trying to group the 3 disciplines in just one equation:
DJING PRODUCING live PERFORMING = GOLDFINGER CREW.
That was the 1.0 version of the band, that in less than one year and in amazing growth won the Spanish DMC finals and competed in the World finals in the O2 Arena in London.
The year after is when the fourth member of the group joined: DJ Dare. He is a well known writer, producer and Turntablist of the Hip Hop scene of Barcelona, and became the fourth vector to configure the current project. After winning the second DMC Spanish title, GOLDFINGER CREW started as well a new path as a musical band, although not forgetting the competition circuit. Competition, as they say, is extremely useful to develop and investigate new technics on the turntables. Also their musical style commenced to define, with powerful live performances and a comprehensive variety of electronic fragances riding as scratches on top of energetic drums.
Their live remixes of big hits from Fat Boy Slim, Prodigy or Crystal Method, combined with their own productions, have opened new paths to a full generation of DJs and producers.
Turntables used as musical instruments, smashed and recombined rhythms and an extremely accurate choreography have raised GOLDFINGER CREW to be one of the most innovative bands of the electronic music scene.
