Glynis was an instrumental alternative rock band based in Chicago, IL. The band was first started Early 2005 in the middle of Michigan as a 3 piece known as Sandman, the Endless! Over the next 6 months several members would come and go, unable to slowdown the progress of the core band members. In March of 2006 the original 3 piece core of Glynis independently recorded and released their debut self titled EP. That summer they hit the road for the first time to promote the record, selling out of copies along the way.

In October of 2006 Glynis was named High Times best unsigned band after submitting a special unreleased version of their song 48 Volts of Phantom Power. January of 2007 found Glynis heading to the Chicago Recording Company to start work on their debut full length with producer Dave Rieley (Smashing Pumpkins , 30 Seconds to Mars, Elvis Costello). After a short break and a bitchin' summer tour the record was later finished in September of 2007 at Rax Trax in Chicagos Lakeview neighborhood.

2008 was the last year to see any real action out of Glynis, their debut full-length "All My Parts are Pretty Soft" was independently relesed and the band continued to tour and play around the Chicago area until November when a decision was made to part ways.

Glynis briefly reunited in January of 2010 for a final show in their hometown of Midland, MI.
