Glory Days Presents! is the longest running independent promoter of live music in Gainesville, FL producing and promoting live music events since 2000
Glory Days presents OVER 100 LIVE SHOWS A YEAR in Gainesville alone, supporting local music and attracting popular and up and coming national acts of all genres. Glory Days IS live music in Gainesville.
Currently, Glory Days presents shows at every regular live music venue in Gainesville - Common Grounds, The Venue, 1982 Bar, Atlantic, and Backstage Lounge. Glory Days has also presented shows at past and present local venues including Market Street Pub,Side Bar, Abbey Road, The Pontiac, Faces, Full Circle, The Shamrock, The Basement, Midtown, The Downtown Plaza, Tim and Terry's, and Hyde and Zeke Records.
In 2007, Glory Days began expanding to other Florida markets including Pensacola, Orlando, Tampa and Southern FLfor select shows. GLORY DAYS GULF COAST now puts on over 50 concerts a year outside of Gainesville. Keep an eye on the show listings for bigger names that might not be coming to Gainesville!
In Sept 2008, Glory Days put on Gainesville's only (and first in almost a decade) outdoor multi day, multi genre camping style music festival - aptly titled THE REAL BIG DEAL - at the Alachua County Fairgrounds. Approximately 2500 people were attendance over the 2 day event featuring headliners Motion City Soundtrack, Drive By Truckers, and Mates of State. The highlight of the weekend was the now famous "Barn Jam" featuring a once in a lifetime live collaboration between the Benevento Russo Duo and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore.
