Gloka d is a multi talented and focused young artist on the rise with bars u remember!His journey in the music game started when he was only 14 and was still attending his local secondary school aveling park.This is where gloka first decided to start writing lyrics and spitting. During this time in school he teamed up with fellow firecamp member 2 face who was also just starting 2 mc.
Alongside 2face and other mcs shyknee,blanka,orpheus,lady danger,chubbz(rip),dj lanks and dj swoosh glokas first crew pure dubz was born.Although short lived at the time gloka was unaware that the puredubz crew was the start of a long trip in the underground music game for him. Gloka now part of the dark souled hitmen crew featuring double m,sparkey danger,jinxer,wizzkid,2face,and dj ricky merks was getting quite popular locally for spitting and especially for his now well known blown away bar.Glokas popularity was slowly rising and something big was waiting just around the corner.
The dark soul hitmen eventually got a slot on a new up and coming station called cruise control and began spreading thier unique vibe and flow all around the endz.soon the dark soul hitmen were so big on the station thet morefire crew even wanted to make a special guest appearance on the show.Hearing the raw talent and potential of the up and coming mcs morefire decided to recruit most of the dark souled hitmen members plus other mcs and make more fire youngers.
Not long after the alliance the new era was recorded and soon after this a video was shot.launching on channel u just a few weeks after pow new era terrorised the channel u charts and radio waves for the short lived time that the video was aired. the tune was a massive underground hit.This video was glokas debut channel u appearance but not the last.The blown away bar that gloka layed on the track was most definately one of the most memorable eight bars on the track and he started getting his name known in more than just the endz.
After the success of the blown away bar gloka decided to take some time out for studio and improving his producing skills.a year after this in 2005 gloka was now back from behind the scenes returing after a long abcence from channel u to feature in fellow firecamp member lethal bs ex rated the best video.in just a matter of months after this gloka was bk on channel u again but this time takin th lead roll in the firecamp single forward 2 performing the hook and an eight bar verse alongside lethal b,2 face,knowledge,gambit and ozzie b.After this video gloka decided 2 go underground again and get back into the studio to create his mixtape rumoured for release around may 2007.That brings us up to date with were gloka has come from in the music game and were he is heading.Right now u can find promos of glokas floating about with a definate mixtape on the way featuring firecamp members and various producers.Gloka is also helping lead the new era movement which is a link between lots of crews in the grime scene working together.also if you are an artist and need any productions just message him with your details.FINALLY I WANNA SAY LOOK OUT FOR THE GREAT FIRE OF LONDON ALBUM COMING SOON.
