Zespól powstal w 1999 roku i tworza go wokalista Kuba Badach, saksofonista i flecista Jerzy Glówczewski oraz twórca calego przedsiewziecia, wibrafonista Bernard Maseli.
Oryginalnosc muzyczna zespolu polega na nietypowym polaczeniu trzech róznych indywidualnosci muzycznych, gdzie Kuba Badach reprezentuje soul i funk, Jerzy Glówczewski - jazz a Bernard Maseli - fusion .
W 2001 roku,wiosna zespol nawiazal wspólprace ze znakomitym perkusjonista indonezyjskim Nippy Noya. Muzyk ten o fantastycznym dorobku (gral m.in.: S.Getz, B.Cobham, A.Summers, The Animals, E.Burdon, R.Brecker, M.Brecker) znakomicie uzupelnil brzmienie zespolu swoimi instrumentami perkusyjnymi i przyjal zaproszenie na kolejna trase koncertowa. Trasa ta odbyla sie w okresie 13-25 listopada 2001 roku i byla olbrzymim sukcesem koncertowym zespolu "The Globetrotters".
Rok 2002 przyniósl kolejne dwie trasy z Nippy Noya oraz nagranie drugiej plyty pod tytulem"Fairy Tales Of The Trees" nagranej z udzialem znakomitych gosci;Dean Brown-git.,Krzysztof Scieranski-bass,Leszek Szczerba-sax.,Przemyslaw Maciolek-git.) która ukazala sie na poczatku 2003 roku.
Z muzyka zawarta na drugiej plycie pojawili sie podczas najwiekszych polskich festiwali jazzowych (m.in. Jazz Jamboree czy Jazz na Starówce) oraz wyruszyli za granice, gdzie ich muzyka przyjmowana jest wyjatkowo cieplo. Koncertowali m.in. na Festiwalu Jazzowym w Kuwejcie, na Wegrzech oraz podczas World Etno Fest na Slowacji.
Ogólem, podczas swojej dziewiecioletniej dzialalnosci zagrali juz ponad 300 koncertów.
Jesienia 2005 roku ruszyli w kolejna, tym razem 17 koncertowa trase promujaca swój trzeci album.
W jego nagraniu oprócz stalego skladu wzieli udzial: Marek Raduli-gitary, Henryk Gembalski-skrzypce oraz Kuba Mietla na akordeonie.
Plyta "Both Sides" pojawila sie w sklepach w maju 2006 roku, zdobyla uznanie publicznosci i bardzo przychylne recenzje a promujacy ja singiel z ballada "All You Want" zagoscil na Trójkowej Liscie Przebojów Marka Niedzwieckiego. Obecnie zespól pracuje nad czwartym albumem.

The Globetrotters represents so-called world music - the genre including different elements of ethnic music. The group came into being in 1999 and its members are Kuba Badach - vocalist, Jerzy Glówczewski saxophonist and flutist, and Bernard Maseli (the founder) - vibraphonist. The music originality of the group is the result of unusual combination of three different musical personalities, where Kuba Badach represents soul and funk, Jerzy Glówczewski jazz, and Bernard Maseli fusion. This combination together with elements of folklor from all over the world (Latin rhythms, African and Hindu scales, Scottish songs) constitute the highly original profile of the group.
The first concert tour of the Globetrotters (22 concerts) was the important artistic event at the fusion stage. This tour resulted in recording the first CD . The Globetrotters released by Futurex. The CD received good critiques in all important Polish musical magazines and at the moment it is on the play list of the fusion radio in New York. In the Spring 2001 the group started co-operation with Nippy Noya an excellent Indonesian percussionist who enriched the sound of the group using his unusual instruments. The concert tour of The Globetrotters and Nippy Noya (November 2001) was the big succes of the group.
The Globetrotters gave about 300 concerts in Poland and abroad, receiving enthusiastic reception of the audience and critics. In 2002 the group has prepared the tour with the new CD ("Fairy Tales Of The Trees")and stuff for its new,acustic, CD with Nippy Noya (August 2004)and guests.
Lately autumn 2005, they recorded new material to prepare third regular CD album,called"Both Sides" which got enthusiastic reviews among critics and publicity. Now the band is working on their fourth album.
