Jason Miles and his internationally recognized world-funk ensemble Global Noize transport the soulful 1970s classics of Sly & The Family Stone into the 21st century in brand-new arrangements!

Led by a stellar cast of contemporary R&B and world groove vocalists, SLY Reimagined delivers blazing versions of anthemic Sly & The Family Stone songs for a new generation of R&B fans. Features vocalists Nona Hendryx, Roberta Flack, Malika Zarra, and Mudbone Cooper. Also features turntable artist DJ Logic and gifted jazz improvisers such as Ingrid Jensen and Jeff Coffin. Jason Miles, known for his trailblazing keyboard and synth collwolrd funkaborations with Miles Davis and Michael Jackson, continues his string of tribute CD projects of major R&B jazz artists, which have included Miles Davis, Grover Washington, Marvin Gaye, and others. Adding authenticity to the recording, Miles was able to convince Greg Errico, Sly's original drummer, to sit in on several tracks!
