GLEE FOR HOLIDAY

I GLEE FOR HOLIDAY si formarono ufficialmente nell’Aprile del 2005 in seguito allo scioglimento degli UNLINKED, gruppo punk-rock nato circa due anni prima dall’unione di Mon, Ale e Boris. I tre ragazzi iniziarono a suonare insieme a fine estate 2002, esibendosi ad un rock-contest dopo solo due settimane dalla loro formazione. Dopo un anno, Mon (chitarra e voce del gruppo), attraverso un compagno di classe, conobbe Rosi che diventerà secondo chitarrista e seconda voce. Purtroppo però la carriera degli Unlinked terminò a fine del 2004 con lo scioglimento del gruppo. Ciò nonostante Mon non si diede per vinto e insieme a Rosi decise di formare un nuovo gruppo. A Marzo del 2005 Gianvi entrò a far parte della band, nel ruolo di batterista. Inizialmente i tre ragazzi si limitarono a suonare qualche cover e qualche vecchio pezzo degli UNLINKED. Il problema restò solo uno: la ricerca del bassista. La scelta cadde su Mezza, vecchio bassista in un vecchio gruppo di Rosi. Il quartetto si esibì in una ventina di concerti e qualche contest musicale fino a dare la luce al primo lavoro in studio: “AN EXCUSE FOR A BEHAVIOR”, un EP autoprodotto di quattro pezzi. Ora i GLEE FOR HOLIDAY stanno dedicando il tempo libero alla scrittura di nuovi pezzi per un altro eventuale EP o CD.



GLEE FOR HOLIDAY officially formed in april 2005 after UNLINKED's hiatus, a punk rock band created about 2 years earlier based on Mon, Ale and Boris. The three guys performed their very first show only 2 weeks after the band started and after a year, thanks to a classmate, Mon met Rosi that will add his voice and his guitar to the band. UNLINKED career ended at the end of the year 2004 with the band's hiatus. But Mon didn't want to give up and tried to star another band with Rosi. In march 2005 the drummer Gianvi joined the guys. At the begining they played only some covers or some old song from UNLINKED, but there still was a problem: They needed a bassist. The choice was Mezza, bass player in a old band formed with Rosi.

The band played in about twenty concerts before finishing their first record: "An Excuse For A Behavior", a self-produced EP with four songs. Now Glee For Holiday are spending their spare time writing new songs for a new EP or album.
