GirlParts

GirlParts is an original rock band that came together in Boston, MA in the summer of 2003. After being drawn to Atlanta for its up and coming music scene, the band dropped everything and relocated to Georgia in early 2004 to further their musical career.



The bands unique sound is drawn from many different genres of music such as classical, jazz, funk, hip hop, heavy metal, pop, and soul. These influences come together to make driving beats, powerful melodies, memorable riffs and burning guitar solos.



The band members have played individually in a variety of bands throughout their journey, having a combined total of over 1500 shows/performances under their belt which is displayed in their talent and showmanship onstage. Performances include the Atlantis Music Conference, Atlanta Music Unites Benefit for Tsunami victims, and the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA.



The band has played along side Reigndrop Lopes (Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes from TLC's sister) after she was blown away by an awesome GirlParts performance she witnessed.



GirlParts rocked the socks off hundreds of fans that gathered to see them perform at The Vans Warped Tour 2005. The Vans Warped Tour is the largest touring rock and roll event that takes place every summer. With Multiple stages and an eclectic assortment of rock bands GirlParts was honored to be playing along side such great bands as The Transplants, My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, Fall Out Boy and many others.



In October 2005, GirlParts was sought out by television executives at Turner Broadcasting (TBS) to be the house band for the taping of a new comedy series called Short Flix.



GirlParts is wrapping up in the studio with producer Corey Lowery from the band Dark New Day.



With our high energy performances and rapidly growing fan base, GirlParts is a band that you will be hearing more about in the future.
