Gina Kaz

Gina's music touches deep and hangs out in that "core" space. Her recent album "For You," was recorded in Nashvillve. She has been compared to Sarah MacLachlan, Sinead O'Connor, and Bjork. From the beginning of creating this record, Gina wanted it to be vulnerable and beautiful and honest- to put it all out there, no hiding.



Gina Kaz is a classically trained pianist and has been composing music since she was a teeny one. Her background includes being a music therapist who worked with the dying in hospice settings. She would regularly write songs with the men, women, and families to provide a postive means for self expression. Her experience with hospice influenced her life and her music to this day. She wants to live a full life.love and create as much as she can. "life goes fast and i want to live it as big as possible," she says. She has also been performing for various homeless shelters and recently did a Benefit Concert for a Women's Homeless Shelter in Philadelphia. "I want to be in that moment when someone realizes they are powerful," says Kaz.



Her music has been used in Independent Films in London, UK, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and N.Carolina. Gina's new song "We Can Take Care of Each" has recently been chosen to be featured in a new upcoming Independent Film "What Is Indie?" out in Quebec Canada. www.whatisindiemovie.com.
