A Gary, Indiana native and northside Minneapolis raised artist expresses his troubled life through his tricky and unique metaphorical style of telling hood tales that go on everyday in every hood. Being a Tarry Town Ranger, G.I. Joe is a focused man that will not stop to get to the top and help put his state on the map. Becoming a convicted felon at the age of 17 brought him many struggles and obsticles through his life. With his older family members being Tarry Town Rangers he learned the meaning of unity and brotherhood, which put an undividable meaning to his group: "It isn't a gang, It's a way of life" . This is the Tarry Town Model
