He begins to study guitar when he was 10 years old (october 1983) at tha School of Music "Il Coretto", in Bari.In tha period between December 1984 and June 1986 he attends private lessons by the teacher Francesco Romeo. Later he goes on with his studies about the modern tendencies by his own.
In September 1999 he matriculates to the University of Music in Rome, where he has the chence to study with important teachers, such as Fabio Mariani, Nicola Puglielli, Emanuele Basentini (in jazz' s context); Rocco Zifarelli, Marco Manusso, Sandro Deidda, Gianluca Verrengia (in modern context).
He currently attends the third year of the university course of Jazz Music at the conservatorium "Niccolò Piccinni", in Bari.
He attended seminars and masterclasses held by italian and international teachers, such as John Petrucci, Stanley Jordan, Massimo Varini, Andrea Braido,Cesareo, Erik Daniels, Mike Appelbaum.
Between December 1984 and June 1986 he plays solo guitar in an ensemble of 7 acoustic guitars (under 14) under Francesco Romeo's guidance.
In 1992 he begins to play with different Bari's groups, performing in night clubs and in variuos cities' events, and taking part to competitive examination for bands and soloists.
In 1997 he begins the experiencewith the Bari's band "Ariamara", writing texts and music. With this band he wins the Arezzo Wave's prize of critics in the local selection; he takes part to the exhibition "Estate in Libertà 98", held by the commune of Bari; the "Ariamara" band is placed second in the competitive exhibition "Trani Music Award" (September 1998); they take part to the show "Music per i Giovani" (music for young people) organized by the commune of Bari.
From September 2000 the begins the collaboration with the theatrical team "Metrica dei Giorni" (sponsored by Senator Giacovazzo) as composer of musics for the show.
In the same period he works as shift worker in studio and live with various Bari's band and songwriters and singers.
In the year 2000, together with his brother Andrea (guitarist), he creates a band called "Surfinalien", proposing a Joe Satriani's cover repertory and unpublished works composed by himself.
Between 2001 and 2003 he plays with the acoustic guitar' s trio "I tre acuti", proposing the Guitar Trio's repertory (De Lucia, Di Meola, McLaughlin), various jazz masterpieces and his own arrangements from the album "Imagery Suite" by Colonna-Gambale. Between 2005 and 2006 he plays wirth the "R't?r" band ( the history of rock guitar from Chuck Berry to Steve Vai ), and with The Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band.
From 1998 he gives private lessons of modern guitar.ùFrom 2002 he teaches modern guitar, theory, solfeggio and armony in the School of Music "Centro della Chitarra" (Centre of Guitar), in Bari. In the year 2007, with the band BigatLady, he wins the 3° place at the Musicapulia rock contest.
He currently plays with the "BigFatLady" band (rock n' blues and so on), with the "Zero in condotta" Big Band of the "Niccolò Piccinni" conservatorium, directed by Andrea Gargiulo, with the Killer Be Bop trio, is the solist guitar in the musical "The Wall", plays with the gospel choir Just a little soul, with the G3, with thw Mo' sista and with the band Liscippatori demozioni tribute to Piero Scamarcio and the Oesais.

Inizia lo studio della chitarra, all età di 10 anni, nell' ottobre 1983 presso la scuola di musica Il Coretto di Bari. Da dicembre 1984 a giugno 1986 è seguito privatamente dal maestro Francesco Romeo. Continua gli studi, da autodidatta, in ambito moderno. Nel settembre 1999 si iscrive presso l' Università della Musica di Roma dove ha l’ opportunità di studiare e di confrontarsi con maestri del calibro di: Fabio Mariani, Nicola Puglielli, Emanuele Basentini (in ambito jazz); Rocco Zifarelli, Marco Manusso, Sandro Deidda, Gianluca Verrengia (in ambito moderno). Attualmente iscritto al III anno del corso universitario in Musica Jazz presso il conservatorio Niccolò Piccinni di Bari. Ha seguito seminari e masterclass tenuti da maestri italiani ed internazionali fra i quali: John Petrucci; Stanley Jordan; Massimo Varini; Andrea Braido; Cesareo; Erick Daniels; Mike Appelbaum. Da dicembre 1984 a giugno 1986 è chitarra solista di un' ensemble di 7 chitarre acustiche (under 14) sotto la direzione del maestro Francesco Romeo. Dal 1992 inizia a suonare con diverse formazioni baresi esibendosi in locali e concerti in piazza e partecipando a concorsi per band e per musicisti solisti. Dal 1997 inizia l’ esperienza con la band Ariamara di Bari per il cui repertorio scrive testi e musiche. Con gli Ariamara: nel 1998 ha vinto il premio della critica di Arezzo Wave nella selezione regionale; partecipa alla rassegna Estate in Libertà 98 indetto dalla VIII circoscrizione del Comune di Bari; settembre 1998 secondi classificati al concorso Trani music award; febbraio 1999 partecipa alla manifestazione Musica per i giovani indetta dalla terza circoscrizione di Bari. Da settembre del 2000 inizia la collaborazione con il gruppo teatrale Metrica dei Giorni(gruppo sponsorizzato dal senatore Giacovazzo) per cui compone le musiche per le rappresentazioni. Dal 2000 lavora come tournista dal vivo con numerose formazioni baresi e con cantautori. Sempre nel 2000 insieme al fratello Andrea ( chitarrista ) mette su la band Surfinalien, proponendo un repertorio di cover di Joe Satriani ed inediti strumentali di propria composizione. Dal 2001 al 2003 suona con il trio di chitarre acustiche I tre acuti, proponendo il repertorio del Guitar trio (De Lucia, Di Meola, McLaughlin), vari standard jazz ed arrangiamenti propri dall’ album Imagery suite di Colonna-Gambale. Dal 2005 al 2006 con la band "R't'R" ( la storia della chitarra rock da Chuck Berry a Steve Vai ), con la tribute band di Stevie Ray Vaughan. Dal 1998 impartisce lezioni di chitarra moderna in ambito privato. Dal 2002 tiene corsi di chitarra moderna, di teoria, di solfeggio e di armonia presso la scuola di musica Centro della Chitarra di Bari. Nel 2007 con i BigFatLady partecipa al concorso Musicapulia classificandosi 3°. Attualmente suona stabilmente con i BigFatLady ( rock n’ blues ), con la Big Band Zero in condotta del conservatotio N. Piccinni di Bari diretta dal maestro Andrea Gargiulo, con i Killer Be Bop ( rock, funk, fusion ), fa parte del cast del musical “The Wall”, suona stabilmente nel coro gospel Just a little soul, con il G3, con i Mo'sista e con la band Liscippatori demozioni omaggio a Piero Scamarcio e agli Oesais.
