Club promoter a napoli dai primi anni 90 con "Totally Cool" e successivamente con "Taz" & "The End", il suo lavoro e' stato recentemente recensito nel libro "mondo tecno" di A. Benedetti.

Dopo aver conseguito il diploma "Staimberg" nel 1999, comincia la sua collaborazione con Ableton come product specialist certificato e testimonial per l' italia, occupandosi di corsi, workshop, recensioni ed articoli x i media.

Collabora anche con il "SAE institute" di Milano per eventi e corsi di live performer.

Comincia a sperimentare esibendosi dal vivo al festival Roma Europa 2003 e al festival Bolognese Distorsonie (2003) , ha partecipato al Synch di Atene ed altri importanti festival Europei.

Attualmente lavora come sound desiner e produttore, proprietario della "titbit music" assieme a D. Squillace con sede fra Napoli e Barcellona, oggi al decimo numero di catalogo, fra i produttori troviamo Mark Henning, Brett Johnson, Michael Stavostrand, prossimamente SIS e un nuovo V.A.

Appassionato di nuove tecnologie hardware e software realizza patch personali con software modulari, come Max Msp, Reaktor e "racks" di Ableton.

Predilige al dj set la performance dal vivo, il suo live è ricco di influenze che rispecchiano il vasto e vario background a cui si ispira, sfruttando l'esperienza e la conoscenza tecnica di Ableton, il live set è realizzato con synth e drum machine vst controllati via midi e open sound control con il "monome", cercado cosi' di limitare le clip preregistrate e arrangiando in tempo reale il set.

Punk was his first approach to music, He began to play drums at age of 15.

To discover his attitude to electonic music Was really important the new wave and dark scene in 80's, also roland drum machines and the akai new saplers coming out.

Club promoter since early 90's, was one of the people pushing for the techno music in napoli, first with "totally cool" an then with "the end", having as residents, dj's now rappresenting the sound of "neapolitan techno" in the world.

He start to study soud design and gets a master in cubase in 1999, now is working for the German software-house Ableton, organizing workshops for festivals in Italy, media and topics about live.

In 2004 with his friends Davide Dquillace and Walter del Vecchio he starts the label TITBIT ( www.titbitmusic.com ), with the distribution Triple vision and beatport digital.

Actually he is running different projects. It's the natural consequence of his interest in wide range of stiles in his music background, and his creativity.



Giancarlo Lanza/D.A.T.A., is a project oriented to club music, with minimal glitch, funk dub, house and tekno influences.



LOOP FORNELLI, born naturally, his passion for coocking and for music melt down in a concrete music experiment. The performance is made by the sound of coocking choppend and loopped in real time building textures and grooves, without using sithetizers or drum machines, the smell and the taste of food that is offered to people give the final touch to the show. Loop fornelli is performed with Luca Canciello ( Climnoizer ) and Alessandro Quintavalle ( Meg ).
