DESCRIPTION:
I had trouble with distortion on this one. I'm not sure if it's the disc or my set up. I was thinking to half-speed it, I can play it back at 2x to get the correct playback, but I've not figured out how to permanently double the speed/pitch to complete the process.
I used the 2.75 truncated elliptical stylus (only elliptical I have). I used some EQ and NR at higher frequencies. The record is from 1936, so I guess it sounds ok considering. This is one of Alec Templeton's original compositions, and it is supper cool. Recently I picked up both of his 4x78 albums from the Gramophone Shop
