Ghost Of Bruce

The Ghost Of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band plays the breath-taking music of Bruce Springsteen from the 1970s to the 21st century. All the performances by the band are sweaty, swinging and most importantly, authentically "bossy". The band plays together like the real E Street Band and the vocalist, Saku "Bruce" Virtanen, is virtually the singing-clone of Mr. Springsteen himself.
Six musicians from various other bands (e.g. Coo, Laurila, Liekki, Starflower, Cry Bar, Sam D) play in the band. In addition to basic instruments, the line-up includes piano, organ, synthesizer and saxophone that create the true E Street Band sound.
Praised as the best tribute band in Finland and the new king of party bands (Aamulehti / Valo), TGOBS & TESB originated from Saku Virtanen's huge Springsteen idolisation. In the mid 1990s the spare Bruce from Hervanta started to make his own acoustic solo gigs in Tampere. The tribute band was put together in summer 2004, as it was time to rock hard. It was not difficult to find six similar Springsteen fans.
The band comes in three different concert line-ups. Acoustic emotions with one man and his guitar, rock with the full line-up or Bruce played by a trio.
