Hierro is a seasoned music producer and engineer, with studio credits almost as impressive as his music. He has engineered for top artists such as Paul Van Dyke, Ja Rule and Daddy Yankee. He produced several hypnotic tracks and electronic remixes such as Ayo Technology by 50 cents and Justine Timberlake which gained popularity in England and Brazil, his own dance/meringue mix Me Roban featured on various compilations exposed throughout the world, and also the newest chart hitting single Foam Party off of the upcoming album. He has also done many remixes to the sounds of DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Moby, 666, T.K.O. Stevie B. Deep Dish, Daft Punk and many others.

Originally introduced to the music world as a Dj, Hierro joined a meringue band in 2002 as a favor to a friend who needed another member. In this experience he lost his stage fright and began his understanding of stage presence. And this is where his curiosity for producing was obtained. Hierro continued to deejay on the side performing gigs for schools, churches, and Private events. “I was picking up scraps to acquire as much practice and exposure for my music.” However, he felt his music wasn’t good enough. He noticed a lack of connection with the audience. “Truthfully, it sucked!”



Hierro’s ambition led him to engineering school- thinking he would learn to hone his skills as a producer. Instead, the school simply taught him how to engineer. Despite this misunderstanding, Hierro became a certified engineer and used his professionalism and discipline to feel a song better and in-turn become a better producer. “In every genre, everyone sounds the same. I’m trying to bring a different yet modern style to today’s music.”



He has experimented with many different styles and several genres of music from Houston’s chopped and screwed to techno and dance. His love for dance, techno and electronic music began when a friend of his left a cd from Dj Irene in his car. Being it was the only cd he had in his vehicle he was forced to listen to it and grew to love it. Hierro started playing the cd when he would dj and notice how people loved it as well.



His passion for electronic music grew intensely as he ventured on to listening to other artists such as the ever amazing Dj Tiesto, Oakenfold and Frankie Bones. He began making music as often as he could- during his lunch breaks, on the train ride to and from work- every available moment. Hierro has also recently gained an interest to experiment with freestyle and baile funk. As he expands his knowledge of all music his talent for making it widens and perfects.



Hierro’s muse for his music stems from his mood. And just like anyone’s mood it is always changing which makes it easy for everyone to feel the vibe of his music. “Music never stops!” And it seems it may be true for this unique rising music producer whose fate is guaranteed to reach him to success.
