George Gershwin

Hello everyone. My name is George Gershwin. I was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 26th 1898, and died in Beverly Hills, California on July 11th, 1937. From the begining of my career in 1916 to the late thirties, I composed popular stage songs, operas, preludes and concerto's for piano, film scores, and jazz ensembles. My most well known works are "Rhapsody in blue" , "I've got Rhythm", "Porgy and Bess" and "An American in Paris" to name a few.
