Gifted with multiple ways to entertain, Geoffro Cause brings a chill, yet driving sound of Funk, Soul, and Hip-hop. This Los Angeles based project brings a fresh vibe of originality through the speakers.
As an ARTIST and a PRODUCER, Geoffro has been able to test the waters of originality with his unique approaches to songwriting. In the world of modern music where genres are constantly evolving, Geoffro stands out on his own with his constant new ideas.
Originally from Cleveland, OH, Geoffro grew up with many different musical influences. From his parent's record collection to the local used CD store, Geoffro found a love for many great artists of rock, r&b, and hip-hop. From age 5 he was on his way to reading and improvising on multiple instruments. Geoffro eventually bought a 4-Track recorder in the 10th grade and began to track his song ideas that would come to him when he was trying to sleep. His ability to rap brought a witty and often introspective edge to his lyric writing, and by age 18 he was a prolific songwriting machine. Having many friends with different backgrounds has always been an inspiration and influence for his songs. And right in the center of it all, his unique voice carries his passion full strength with his high belting range and soulful tone.
Currently, Geoffro Cause can be heard with his band and performing solo at a number of venues throughout Southern California with occasional regional touring in between.
When he isn't on stage, Geoffro is usually in his third home, the studio. Continuously on the grind, new songs and projects are constantly being polished.
Writing for various big name artists has been a new opportunity for the Cause and has helped to keep the songs flowing… Stay tuned!
