Garden of Turbulence has come full circle in the world of metal. Originally called Of Evil Creation the band had the primary writer and band

manager James Thomas or "Ravnos". For years Ravnos has jammed with his friend Lawrence Hernandez(Mictian). After years of playing metal together in 2003

they picked up the other members needed to form Of Evil Creation. The first member to be picked up after Lawrence was AJ(Loki) the drummer, who had a great

place for the band to meet up and practice. The band then needed to find a bass player and a vocalist. James and Lawrence had a friend who played bass

Sean Perry and then Ravnos also had a buddy who is a former military man named Eric Reihl(Eblis) who wanted to sing some metal music. Of Evil Creation played

many local shows throughout Bakersfield from venues like Montgomery World Plaza and the underground venue Jerry's PIzza. After playing for some 30 months

together Ravnos approached his former singer from Ravnos's highschool punk rock band Allied. After getting in contact with the singer Ravnos played

a live recording of Of Evil Creation the singer told Ravnos that the band would be more intense with some keyboards. Thats when Of Evil Creation got their

last member, Scott Von Jaske the pianist. Of Evil Creation went on to play with the keyboardist expanding from a death metal grundge sound to a more

melodic technical sound. Eventually due to conflicting schedules from the Aj the drummer, Sean the bassist, and Lawrence the rhythm gutiarist, lead Ravnos

to take the singer and keyboardist to make a newer and greater band then Of Evil Creation, and Garden of Turbulence was spawned from hell.

Now That the foundation for the band had been laid the next order of business for Ravnos was to replace the memebers that were lost from OEC.

Finding a drummer was the main musician needed, since Ravnos was lead guitar we needed to fill a rhythm slot and add a bass player. Thats when they found the Erik Olsson , Brandon Alvis and Bill Mccreary The next major dilemma for GOT was to find a reliable place to practice. The band hopped around from the singers house, to the

drummers grandmothers house, until the band finally built their own music studio at Ravnos's Dads house in the garage. Literally the band was a "garage band"

and after six months of practice GOT had to move the studio to Alvis's house due to the power bills etc . During that time we Dropped our bass player looking for a player who was technically proficient. The band still needed a bass player, and as far as finding a new studio, brandon's

house worked out great. After personality conflicts with Ravnos and Brandon GOt played with just 1 guitarist But picked up Jose Sanchez on bass who was later dropped due to his inability to show up. The band like every other band had many

issues and had to temporarily suspend activity when the keyboardist Scott left the band due to personal reasons As well as Ravnos who had conflicts with the drummer . After 6 months of no play the band reformed

and chose to make a studio out at the drummers new house way across town. Thats when we found JJ Hernandez(bass) band and Luke dewit(guitars) who was later relieved of his duties and replaced by jj on guitars when we added our current bass player Rick Lozano

to the band. The band played shows and was making progres when the keyboardist Scott had to move down south to Hollywood to attend the Musicians Institute

for further musical education. The band still plays shows locally in Bakersfield and occasionally out of town shows. Scott simply migrates up north for practice

and shows whenever it is needed. Garden of Turbulence is still going strong and has played with many reputable bands.
