*FRONT* is an edgy, lo-end metal band from Beckley, West Virginia packing a heavy-weight punch w/t a military tank's stamina! A crew w/t a muddy, authentic style that provides the listener w/t a brutal, array of 6 & 7-string riffs, by CHRIS HUDDLE, (guitarist, back-up vocals, & lead vocals on the track "DISMANTLED"), now w/t "NATURAL BORN LOSERS" (now "THIEVES IN A CHOIR". The metaphorical slashing & ego destroying lyrics are released from AA (vocals & guitar on "DISMANTLED"), now working on an experimental solo project "SKELETON R.I.P." (DEATH STAR/WESTMONT METAL RECORDS) (www.westmontmetalrecords.com). Meticulously hammering down the funky technical licks on the 5-string bass is the universally talented CHRISTOPHER BERRY (bass/back-up vocals). He is now w/t multiple projects from "DAMN THE FLIES", "PROJECT 78", & now w/t "OUR MALIGNANT BELOVED". & the foundation & structure, BEN PITT (drums). A multi-genre drummer with savvy metal precision that sychronized the deal for *FRONT*! He also is working w/t other projects, including cd releases & performing w/t the band "SEVEN PLANETS". The live sequences & theatrics are done by DJ TANTRUM (JJ). We also need to mention previous members featuring south-paw, ax-master MATT JOHNSON (original bass player & bassist on "BOMBSQUAD" demo 1997), & amazing, power-stroke diesel lyrics from MIKE WILLIAMS (original vocals for FRONT 1994-1997 & now bassist for "SEVEN PLANETS"). FRONT had 2 previous demos b4 introducing AA as the frontman on their 3 track debut EP demo cd release titled "BOMBSQUAD" in 1997. This was followed by their 13 track LP engraved "THE PRODUCT" in 2000. Both releases were recorded & engineered at the legenedary "FROZEN SOUND STUDIO" in Morgantown, West Virginia by studio guru Donavan "Kym" Monday. At STUDIO 101 (Charleston, West Virginia), a "LIVE" cd (1999/2007) was exumed from the *FRONT* archive! This record was an intoxicated "JAGERMEISTER" onslaught, recorded live at "JULIO'S" (2/13/99) in Stanaford, West Virgina by Jason Brown (guitar) & Johnny Allen, (lead-guitarist) then in the punishing band "WARFAIR". *FRONTS* live CD was remastered, engineered, & produced at "STUDIO 101" (2007) in Charleston, West Virginia by AA of SKELETON R.I.P. (DEATH STAR/WESTMONT METAL RECORDS). FRONT set high goals in the metal scene by setting the tone in the music scene w/t a multitude of live performances & studio appearances. The band pioneered the acceptance of the "metal" movement in Beckley, West Virginia & the surrounding area. These 4 battering ramz (HUDDLE, ADKINS, BERRY, & PITT) shut down shop on new years day 2002 w/t no regrets. Each member moved forward w/t other projects & personal endeavors.
